We had a wonderful time in this lovely condo. It is located just a few feet from the water…a beautiful spot! That roaring surf…and the view is amazing. We loved being able to see all along Napili Bay beach…even at night with the lights twinkling across the bay….gorgeous! The unit is very comfortable and spacious for a studio. The vaulted ceilings allow for good air circulation…as does the ceiling fan.. but the breezes from the water keep everything at a good temperature. No need for air conditioning! A nice kitchen with everything you need…and a good sized bathroom. And this unit is very private. The only thing in front of you is the view of the waves endlessly curling, the whales breaching…you get the idea. Thanks Marlene and Geoff…we had a great time!

Loved the stay at this condo. If you like the beach , like the slower pace, like walking on the beach at night, like listening to the surf at night from your patio, you will love this place. If you want the fast pace of Kaanapali , then this is not the place to you. Although we still spent a couple of evenings down at the Westin on Kaanapali with friends. Takes just a few minutes by car. Most of the time we spent on the beach. It's so nice being able to drop your stuff off at the beach and head back to the condo for a break and then back down to the beach. I am a certified diver and loved the snorkelling . I found the Turtle den first snorkel. We had great snorkelling until the last day when we have huge ocean swells and then shifted to the boogie board. Kids from 10 to 60 were boogie boarding. The unit is well equipped. We had everything we needed. Did breakfast and lunch on the patio. Saved $$. Then spent dinner in Laguna and returned for a quite night on the beach.

Just returned from a 7 night stay in A205 at Napili Shores resort and can't wait to return to this property again! We arrived after 10 days on the Big Island staying with friends, and really just needed a place to chill out and relax which Napili provides beautifully. This studio condo is well appointed, very clean, and perfectly situated at the southern end of Napili Beach with access to the sand just steps away. The second-story setting gives you fantastic views of the beach and ocean looking toward Molokai, and the vaulted ceiling provides great circulation of the breezes off the water with the added bonus of making it feel more spacious. You fall asleep to the sounds of ocean waves and palm tree leaves rustling in the breeze and nothing more - it's so quiet. In the morning, you awake to hear marvelous bird songs, though also a bit of clatter from the kids playing shuffleboard behind the building while they wait for breakfast at the Gazebo. We skip the Gazebo line and make our own breakfast after an early morning ocean swim and paddle with the turtles. I rented a SUP board for the week from Greg at the shop right on site at Napili Shores--great selection and very fair prices on everything you need for a great beach experience. Napili Shores has two pools, use the upper pool and hot tub if the wind picks up on the beach and the lower pool for sunset. We love Napili so much we rarely venture away from that beach, but we can recommend happy hour at the Sea House on the north end of the beach, lunch at Aloha Mixed Plate in Lahaina behind the cannery mall or at the Honolua Store mixed plate line at Kapalua (best lau lau ever!), and my all time favorite Maui restaurant MaLa in Lahaina. Highest quality food on the island, sit at the bar for best service ever -- see Lance. To celebrate the 4th of July we took a sunset dinner cruise on the Hula Girl sailing charter who parked us right in front of the fireworks barge off Lahaina for the show. Hula Girl is worth the money -- beautiful luxury 65-foot catamaran, great crew and quality food, amazing views of Maui from the water. I've heard their snorkel cruises are also good. Other sites to recommend from previous Maui trips: sunrise viewing at Haleakala, hike in the Iao Valley, drive to Hana but plan an overnight stay, visit Kihei and Makena beaches, see Hapa perform at the Stella Blues Cafe. Mahalo to owners Marlene & Geoff Wiggins for sharing your piece of paradise, and for the overall ease of transaction!

My problem we went in March spring break! But all the same I think people should be aware of the Condo's spot within the complex makes a difference. Let's start with the negatives: the noise from the pool area from early in the morning till about noon, and again at 3 till the pool closed was disturbing, you could not sit on your lanai or even inside without hearing the loud noise from the pool. Never mind sitting at the pool, if your the kind of person who can listen to kids high pitched screams, balls are thrown over your head while your swimming, adults and children eating poolside, drinking in the pool... Kinda felt like I was at my son's pool parties. Shame on the parents ,there's rules plastered everywhere. The master bed was very uncomfortable for me and my husband. And it feels like your sleeping in the parking lot (I guess we're sensitive to noise) The unit just didn't have the nice details, cleaning was so-so but with so many people going through the unit spotless would have been nice. No garbage bags were left and there was no tinfoil, and no beach towel and the only spices were if your pickling something. The place really needs a nice comfy chair, there's only the pullout couch to sit on. Positives: if I was able to grab the chaise at the pool just in front of condo unit I could use the free wifi. The area is great, lots to do, and this unit would be great with kids. The shores resort staff are fantastic.

This condo was just as describe, a great place to stay, the pool was so handy being that close to the condo. Having our Lanai just within steps of the pool was awesome, it was so nice to sit outside on the Lani to enjoy our morning coffee and watch the sunrise, and it was a short walk to the ocean and the oceanside pool. There was a mixture of families with children and seniors, there was a lot of quiet time by the pool where you could read or whatever.

The bathroom floor was not cleaned very well and the toilet seat was broken. When I opened up the hide-a-bed it was questionable as to whether the sheets had been changed from the last guests. Other than that it was a very nice place in a perfect location. We arrived at the airport at 10:30 in the evening and the condo was easy to find with the directions given.

The biggest drawback was the lack of dining at the resort, they did have the gazebo close by near the ocean but it was only open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and had very limited seating capacity. There was also a restaurant at the front entrance but was only open from 5 p.m to 11 p.m., and it was barb-b-que only with very limited choices. I was expecting a nice sit-down restaurant where you could go in the morning for a coffee, or a salad at noon or even just for a relaxing drink. These things were all lacing at Napili Shores.
